What I Wore Wednesday

March 13, 2013 by Crafty Teacher Lady +

Once again I’m linking up to The Pleated Poppy for WIWW!
This week’s outfit is rather ‘hipsterish’…
On this day I went for a walk and had lunch down in Portland’s Old Port with a friend…a nice day but still a bit chilly, hence the hat, scarf, and vest! Of course I had to wear my classic and trusty Bean Boots, as part of our walk was through melted snow and mud… they are an essential in every Maine girl’s wardrobe and are definitely making a comeback amongst the teenage set as I can’t walk down the halls at school without seeing the skinny jean/Bean Boot combo!
Oh and to prove I do dress up during the week…
Super fun giraffe print tights from Target paired with a leopard print cardi from GAP! Roar!

I am ALSO wearing Bean Boots in this week's WIWW! I'll bet we're the only two in the group. HA.

I just found your blog via pinterest. I had to comment on this because as I was scrolling through your pics I instantly though that the one above reminded me of Old Port! I am from MA and we vacation in Ocean Park every summer…I love going into Portland (and I love my Gritty's)

I've been known to hang out in Ocean Park during the summer, too! One of my friends owns a little beach house there! Maybe I'll see ya there this summer?! 😉 Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Spring is the time to shine for the two cherry tre Spring is the time to shine for the two cherry trees in our backyard…watching them bloom has been nothing short of magical. And the scent of the blossoms!! Absolutely divine!

Buying an older home vs building new can have its perks- one being an established yard (which I just fell in love with). We’ve got neighbors all around, however, the backyard feels pretty private thanks to landscaping done years ago by the previous owners!
Facebook Marketplace for the win! I’m so in love w Facebook Marketplace for the win! I’m so in love with my recent find…the curves are just so darling! I often see many great finds on Marketplace but because I don’t have a truck or trailer, I have to miss out on a lot. I knew this desk would fit in the back of my SUV so I jumped at the chance to grab it. What’s your favorite secondhand find?

Kitchen Progress Update…lots has been done but als Kitchen Progress Update…lots has been done but also still lots to do! I’m not in a hurry with this renovation…working full time and having a kid who needs lots of attention really limits what can be accomplished (and budget)!! But, I’ve got lots of ideas and plans and will chip away at things slowly. My main goal was to get the flooring and counters done before moving in and the rest can happen…whenever! 🤣😊
