Insta-Friday

December 28, 2012 by Crafty Teacher Lady +

Now that I have my new iPhone I’ve been all over Instagram! So today I’m linking up with Jeanette at Life Rearranged for
life rearranged

My vacation week so far…Christmas decorations are already packed up!
I think it’s safe to say I have a mild obsession with shiny, sparkly, silver things…
My favorite new ornament (what teacher wouldn’t love this?)

For some reason, I keep getting free copies of ESPN magazine mailed to me…confusing because I’m really more of a Better Homes and Gardens/Glamour magazine kinda gal…
I think I’ll read them to expand my horizons!

 Vacation project/New Year’s resolution= Get organized!

As I was organizing, found this gem stashed in a drawer…
School pic 2012!

We got lots of snow here in Maine yesterday…welcome Winter!

Hello! I just found your blog and thought I'd comment on this post… love the whole blog! I'm a middle school teacher who used to be a para at the high school. One of my best friends is a social studies teacher, I'm the art teacher. I love arts and crafts too. Your blog is adorable and I wish mine was better looking like yours. I don't know how you have so much time! 🙂 Off to check out more of your blog… I came over for your home office, which is great, so I need to check out the rest of your house.

Spring is the time to shine for the two cherry tre Spring is the time to shine for the two cherry trees in our backyard…watching them bloom has been nothing short of magical. And the scent of the blossoms!! Absolutely divine!

Buying an older home vs building new can have its perks- one being an established yard (which I just fell in love with). We’ve got neighbors all around, however, the backyard feels pretty private thanks to landscaping done years ago by the previous owners!
Facebook Marketplace for the win! I’m so in love w Facebook Marketplace for the win! I’m so in love with my recent find…the curves are just so darling! I often see many great finds on Marketplace but because I don’t have a truck or trailer, I have to miss out on a lot. I knew this desk would fit in the back of my SUV so I jumped at the chance to grab it. What’s your favorite secondhand find?

Now through May 8, students can send a FREE digital thank-you note to their favorite K–12 public school teacher at www.ThankaTeacherVA.com. Those notes will be delivered during Teacher Appreciation Week in May, and trust me, they truly make our day!

Teachers who receive notes could win fun prizes from the Virginia Lottery and its partners, including four statewide top prizes: $2,500 for the teacher and $2,500 in supplies for their school from The Supply Room! 🙌

Parents and teachers — head to ThankATeacherVA.com and help your child or students send a digital note today. It’s quick, easy, and can be done right from home.

Kitchen Progress Update…lots has been done but als Kitchen Progress Update…lots has been done but also still lots to do! I’m not in a hurry with this renovation…working full time and having a kid who needs lots of attention really limits what can be accomplished (and budget)!! But, I’ve got lots of ideas and plans and will chip away at things slowly. My main goal was to get the flooring and counters done before moving in and the rest can happen…whenever! 🤣😊

I found the wood artwork at a craft fair and as soon as I read what it said, I just knew it was perfect for her room- she has already proven she can do AMAZING things!! 💗🥰
