We got our wish- a white Christmas in Maine! Oh what joy I felt when playing in the snow with my little girl for the very first time- she absolutely LOVED it (the first thing she asked to do was make a snow angel)! Growing up in Maine, so many of my childhood memories involve getting all bundled up with my brothers and playing outside with the neighborhood kids all winter long, so it warms my heart seeing my baby experience the fun of snow!!

I thrifted the LL Bean sled years ago, long before I had babies. I always longed to be a mother so I bought the sled as a purchase of faith- that one day I’d have a kiddo of my own to use it with…some dreams really do come true!

The weather is getting chilly so I love to treat myself to a cozy cup of something warm and delicious! #sponsored Growing up, one of my most memorable Thanksgiving traditions was my Grammy Joyce’s banana nut bread. She would stay up into the wee hours of the morning not only making a loaf to serve on Thanksgiving Day but also baking extra loaves for each of us to take home. For the last several evenings while out for a walk

For the last several evenings while out for a walk around our pond, we’ve spotted this little beaver who has a lodge nearby! Beavers are territorial so when he spots us, he acts all cool and collected and then WHAM…He slaps his tail on the surface of the water as a warning! He did this several times until we kept on walking! 😆

Fall in New England cannot be beat and I’m so thankful we get to spend a few weeks here (my Mainer heart missed it so much)!

We took a stroll through the historic village square of Amherst, NH to see the gorgeous homes and beautiful seasonal decorations! My “if I win the lottery” dream has always been to buy an historic home in a quaint old town and fix it up! Maybe one day!! 🥰
