I'm not sure if you are aware of this but teenagers are pretty much obsessed with their cell phones. While it's true that I do have the occasional student who does not have a cell phone, I'd say 99% do and are glued to those little devices. It's a constant battle to teach them cell phone etiquette and convince them that there is a time and place for electronics, but class time isn't it. Don't get
Pretty Fabric Bunting
Inspired by Lindsay's 'scrappy bunting' at The Pleated Poppy, I thought I'd try making my own version to add some whimsy and color to my classroom decor. I cut a variety of rectangles that were about 1.5" by 2.5" from four different fabrics to make a small bunting. Thrifting for Classroom Furniture
Guess what? I'm THRILLED to say that after being on a cart last year (and teaching in five places around the school) I've moved into a permanent room (well, permanent for this year at least)! This means I can NEST...woo hoo! So this summer I kept my eyes peeled for some inexpensive furniture that I could use in my new digs, particularly a stool, a small round table, and some shelves.
